Today, the schools that are part of the Maiakalani Film Festival went to the cinema’s at Slviya park to watch the moives the different schools made. It was pretty cool and funny. Something they should of let us get is snacks because I was pretty hungry but overall it was a good day.
For reading in room 13, I was assigned to do my Listen to reading task for a reading activite. This activtie was okay. If you would like to listen to reading online, you may go on Storyline Online where alot of people read to you!
Yesterday in Room 13, we were working on our maths studyladder tasks. For this math we had to do differnt types of maths, like identifying how many hours there are in a day, differnt times tables and more!
On the first day of term 4, team tui and a few of the year 6s in Room 5 & 6 went to Rotoroa Island to learn about the native plants and animals and how to look after them. We went on a ferry that our teachers said was luxurious but in reality it wasn’t, it was a normal ferry (Mrs Wrack said that). We went on very boring walks but it was okay. The fun thing about the trip was the swimming and playing around with friends until we had to walk in our wet clothes because we didnt have enough time to get dressed, I knew I got sick once I got home, and that was not okay but after all it was a pretty good day!
Today at school, Room 13 did some reading so I decied to do some some Storyline Online.
It was about about a new kid which there parents called the boy the king of kindergarten and it was his firt day at kindergarten and he enjoyed his first day at school.
Today, Angellynah & I were working togerther and made an doc about the Pollnation of the flower.
We first watched an video about pollnation of the flowers and then wrote down what we understand about the pollnation. What do you know about pollnation and do you think its really intresting??
Today, I had to do some listen to reading so I went to Storyline Online and listen to people read.
The video was about how there were monster there to help the kids go to sleep by scaring kids sometimes but the the little monsters were just training from there monster teacher.
Burning Paper
For this experiment, we needed to use paper and a match stick to burn the paper and see if it is a Physical Change or a Chemical Change. When we started to burn the paper, we could see that is was Changing and we couldn’t get it back since its burnt so burning paper is a Physical Change. 
On Thruday 30th June, team Tui went on a trip to Motat, where we all got to learn more about science and the old Technology. The group I was in was pretty chill, I was with Lara’s mum, Lara, Brooke, Angellynah, Pasimati and myself of coruse! We got to go on the tram first (which is an old train/tram) because my group is the best and in the middle of the ride, we got to take photos of us outside of the tram. After our ride on the tram, we still had time to go and expolare so we went to a place called Machine Makers, where there were different activities you could do when you vist Motat. You could go on a human size Hamster wheel, when you could make a bridge kinda float and walk across it and more! My favourite activity there was the Human size hamster wheel. We only had a few minutes there because we needed to go have lunch and then group 2 which im in, had to go for a little lesson of science. There different fun activities like Learning about the convex and concave mirrors, learning about sound waves and the vibrantion of it, Looking into little things with glasses or magnifying glasses and more. The lesson was actually fun and worth the time there! We had alot of time to go check out the villages and the other things around Motat.
My day at Motat was amazing! If you could go there now, you should!
